definitely not a walk in the park

some days are (supposed to be) just like a wast landscape; maybe like a well manicured, sculpted landscape. Maybe the days are not really like the landscape, but the experience of them should be like a walk through a calm and soft spring setting, with birds singing, maybe the occasional fly... I take it back... with the occasional butterfly. Today was not one of those happy walk in the park kind of days. Today was more like a free and unsecured climb. It was more like delivering five little eagles to their nest. And no, they did not really ask for it. It was just time... Because of the nature of the work I can not really write too much about it all. (Not what you think...) It was a wonderful day after all, packed with work and great experiences; fun moments and fear and joy and some of the good things that make a life worth living, I guess? I mean there will be enough rolling lanscapes and golf courses in other people's lifes. now and later... . I took many more and better pictures today, but the one below is somehow the right one for this post... and yes, I know that something is not quite "right" with it... but please, I think every single element of this image is man made... and I guess it is okay as well. Just turn your head... slowly... yes, this is what it felt as well, at times. : )

i can feel my neck getting sore looking up at that... hehe... looooooovely

wow! impressed. do you really live in such an inspiring world and is it you or is it the world? :-)

How does your central nervous system integrate all this visual stimuli? Sounds like sensory overload, but then again i am not a city dweller
and vertigo from high buildings is not in my diet.

everything ”is quite right” with the image. stunning.

(thank you Shauny)

Yanne, I think it was Schopenhauer who pointed out that we never enjoy places, we merely enjoy ourselves in places... same with things... we do not enjoy things, we enjoy ourselves using them... and so on... i think he extended it to life... though I am really bad with my quotes and things... point is... if you feel inspired by the little things you find here... oh, it is you... : D

Boddington, I need visual stimuli... it is often the difference between two states of stimulation that strikes us stronger than the stimulation itself...

(thank you JP...) : D (are you THE JP?)
