Beyond the formal perfection and a beautiful painterly light made quirky by subject matter, the sense of lively sprezzatura is quite astonishing.
I've never been fortunate enough to see pelicans looking quite so magnificent. What a wonderful experience Miami must have been! I don't think I'll ever get tired of seeing more of your pelican pictures.

These are outstanding Wit! Great work. I laugh every time I look at the second one. It looks like he was running across the roof and is skidding to a stop. Excellent.
