i love your blog. i love your drawings. and i love your moleskine notebook. i have seem these for sale but cannot for the life of me remeber where... do you think you could let me know of a moleskine provider in new york? i would be forever grateful!

there are many places that have them in New York. The most expensive ones I have seen so far are at Kate's papeterie in SoHo. My favorite place to get them is my local bookstore, Murder Ink. and Ivy's Bookstore (they recently merged, thus the name) here on 91st street, and Broadway. A.I. Friedman on 19th Street (?) has them for cheapest. You can actually also get them online there is a British site as well as the Italian site and I think both have links to online resources.
Vickerey seems to have them in Kate's price range. There must be ways to get them cheaper online... (Or maybe the Vickerey people are nice... who knows...) : )

friedman has the cheapest? pearl paint was something around $8 last i knew...on canal street. i have to give props to pearl paint 'cos when i was a student and i filled out a small order for a couple tubes of paint i wrote them that i was hungry and too broke to afford supplies and they sent me two big boxes of samples :)

I really like this new minimal direction in your illustrations, Witold. I can't explain why, but Coco Chanel's expression, "When you're done dressing, you should take one thing off", springs to mind. Sometimes less is more ;-)

hmm, Lil, I am afraid there are some really overstuffed pages coning up in this particular book. : )
I do like very minimal drawings sometimes though. And I agree with many things said and done by whom we know as Coco Chanel... : )
