And then, sometimes, it just does not matter. Doing is more important than over-thinking of things. And so it is quite okay to just draw a silly monster dog, with strange big teeth, and funny hair all over. It does not matter what I do, nobody is ever going to see it anyway. It is just for me, a private little game. Nobody will ever find out. Hmm... and if yes? It is not quite as bad as one would think. It is okay. There will be the next page, there will be the next piece of paper, there will be the next day, the next year. It is okay. Just keep doing things... and try not to cut corners.

hey, i have not commented lately, but have been lurking! just wanted to say i have enjoyed the subway series and really like the incorporating of the made for blog illustrations that have quietly snuck in here and there!
shauna...jacek's head is just about that big.
i don't think this monster dawg is really a monster... he may look like a monster with the giant head, the spiky hair n' big ol' eyes... but the way his body is twisted looks more to me like he was caught by surprise that someone has stopped to actually acknowledge him instead of running away... and there's something about the way he's grinning...almost as though he's shy and unsure of himself...
i think he may at first glance appear to be a monster but inside is a heart of gold.
