Some of the Marcy songs are actually real hits.
I also do not think that she is any weirder than Tinky Winky and friends.
When I was a little kid in Poland, my favorite puppet TV show was jacek i agatka (Here on a bar of soap.) (The (1) stands for 1st Quality.)
Jacek and Agatka were basically two Ping-Pong Balls on two gloves. I am sure this can also be seen as something weird. I will now look for more Jacek i Agatka stuff...
