Witold, I've been measning to ask you this for a while now but it always seems to slip my mind - are you using digital these days? And if so, what camera?

cool. I thought - nice place for a camera on a monopod. then as I scrolled down - ooooh nice iSight. Perched like a little bird on something. Mine perches on a mug waiting for a cat to come by.

Then deer and other deer and things trying to escape and suddenly a whole story grew in my head, ending with the wee fawn I saw in my own travels tonight. Most of what I saw of him at first was his black nose. Then his spots and tail. He stood in a field and when I came up along side him in my car he froze and then slowly folded his legs and sunk totally out of view into the grass. It was a nice early summer evening moment on a dirt road.
