Hmm, will need to rescan this image to show more of the detail hidden in the expression of this really dangerous guy. He was ready to just jump and conquer and to fight… and to eat some good piece of the mel somebody had left on the outside table in the restaurant… Well, I think he was looking and some piece of food that had been pulled to the floor by other birds…
(Note to self: need to learn that great scannin’ machine… or at least better…)
that bird looks like pure evil
Posted by: chlamygirl on June 16, 2004 06:17 AMWell, the question would be... can a bird be evil? : )
Posted by: Witold Riedel on June 16, 2004 07:25 AMlooking at that bird, sure looks like it
Posted by: chlamygirl on June 16, 2004 09:48 AMmy feeling is that "evil" is a bit of a human or at least primate invention... and us seeing any of it in a bird might be more of us seeing the reflection of our experiences with the visual language defined by us, than with the actual bird...
: )
what makes this bird look "evil" to you?...
well one definition of evil is to cause harm, injury, or pain, and the look in that bird's eyes certainly suggests that
Posted by: chlamygirl on June 16, 2004 01:30 PMThe bird just has eyes that have this interesting focused expression. This does not mean that the bird has any bad intentions. I am not saying that the bird has good intentions either... the bird in this case would like to eat... and there is nothing evil about that... ; ) I don't think.
Posted by: witold on June 16, 2004 03:32 PMnow i am sounding like an evil smarta$$
Posted by: Witold Riedel on June 16, 2004 09:36 PMok so perhaps i should have said that his intention looked evil, but what would i know of his intention... ugg... out of my league :)
