As just recently mentioned here the incredible little red-leaved plant is not only back from the dead and surviving, it is blooming!

Posted by: shauna on November 25, 2003 02:26 PMreally?... so you might know what the plant is?...
(can I eat it?)... kidding...
I really wonder what is blooming there in my living room...
witold, it looks like some kind of african violet to me... (though I could be wrong!)
don't eat it, I don't think she would like that...
:)
when I first moved to San Francisco, I bought a little one with purple flowers, and over the next few years it grew and grew and bloomed like crazy! once I counted, and it had over 50 flowers blooming at once.
enjoy!
wooow... looks like this one wants to crawl out of the pot... it is growing in very strange patterns...
well see... : )
definitely a begonia! the flower is the clue.
