Ricardo Gomez Perez is from Venezuela. He is an award winning photographer and he recently took some very interesting pictures of his Caracas. Oddly enough, everybody in the shots seems to be smoking. It would be difficult to take shots like these in New York. Take a look at Ricardo Gomez Perez panoramics.
Perhaps it is because I'm viewing them from my work PC, but the images are very dark. And I wonder if they were taken with panoramic equipment or they're termed panoramas simply because of the aspect ratio? Does it matter?

Posted by: christa on January 14, 2003 04:10 PMHi there,
thanks for starting some forum about my work.
The photographs were made with a Hasellblad 35mm/Panoramic. The project was an assignment I was asked by the Fundación Bigott, which is one of Venezuela?s most important foundations. It was created in 1963 as a Corporate Division of C.A. Cigarrera Bigott, Sucs., -a subsidiary of British American Tobacco -, and during its lifetime has developed extensive cultural, educational, agricultural and environmental programs.
