Thunder

There is thunder and hale over Manhattan. Flash and thunder, no delay. And on Broadway there are joggers running up and down through water. Groups of people some with and some without umbrellas cross 96th street. The cabs have turned off their s. The bank across the street is accepting a delivery. Manhattan is an unstoppable working machine.

I was caught in the thunder, it's a glorious feeling walking home with flashes of brilliance overhead. I am drenched and I like it.

Hope your are feeling better. :)

i am still under the weather, hope to be better by monday. Not sure what is wrong with me, really. It is like a strange cold that just drained all the energy out of me.

Your thunderstorm is the reason I'm spending the night at home, in VA. I was supposed to be in Manhattan by 7.30pm tonight - after three hours of waiting on the tarmac in Washington, the plane returned to the gate.

Seems as if a New York thunderstorm is stronger than any airline schedule.
