Just came across a list of 101 Reasons Why I'm a Vegetarian. I am not quite vegetarian, but for some reason the kinder people I meet in my life are. Which makes me think that maybe I should have stayed vegetarian (I was from 1990-1992), except maybe a better educated one. I try not to eat meat more than once in maybe 2 weeks. I do not eat pork really. I do eat plenty of fish.
I had no meat today. Did you?
(Yes, I know Chris, there was this barbecue on Saturday over at your house and I had more than one meat snack, I know.)
I do believe you are already a kind person. I do not think becoming vegetarian will make you kinder or less so. It's a great feeling, being vegetarian. Eat what your body tells you to :) and some day when you feel you no longer desire the taste of say a chicken sand.. umm oh no I've forgotten how to spell sandwich, then you will become vegetarian naturally.
Posted by: T on July 18, 2002 10:58 PMi've been thinking a lot over the past few months of becoming a vegeterian or a semi-vegeterian like yourself. on NPR today they were talking with the writers of a recent Time magazine article about vegeterianism. kind of reminded me that i need to continue looking into how to have a healthy vegeterian diet. one big problem is that i eat at my college cafeteria and it's tough to eat right no matter if you eat vegeterian or not.
