While some of us were figuring out how to draw a picture on an amiga, Jørgen was taking timeless pictures of Venice. Just found this new Black and White gallery of photographs by the one and only Joergen Geerds. Some of us will never take pictures as good as these. He took them with 15?, 16?... Not sure. (If he reads this post, I will probably need to rewrite it.) Cheers.

Posted by: redd on May 5, 2002 11:45 PMhmm, yes, thank you guys, i'm flattered. i was 20, no money and no abitur (yet), but i had my trusty russian 35mm Zenit with a 50mm lens (i bought it from a polish classmate when i was 14). it was a really fun trip to italy, since i was hitchhiking there. i think i made it in less than 12 hours from wuerzburg to udine, and another 6 hours to venice. from venice on i had no more luck hitchhiking and had to rely on the incredible cheap italian rail road.
ps: i never had an amiga, i was always an atari st user (and later mac)
